Praise the
Lord!
What an amazing weekend! Praise the Lord
for all that He accomplished through the Easter Pageant and
our services on Sunday. To date, in the English services,
twelve people indicated that they prayed to receive Christ as
Savior! Praise the Lord! There have been numerous others who
indicated that they renewed their relationship with Jesus
Christ. Please
pray for all of these who have made decisions during the
Easter Pageant. Also, continue to pray for the choir and cast
as we get ready for next weekend. I trust that God is going to
do exceedingly abundantly above all that we ask or think,
according to the power that works within us (Eph. 3:20).
As we approach Easter,
there are always people who would like to try to prove that
Jesus was just a man or He was just a prophet. This coming
Sunday, we will follow the direction of John the Baptist as we
behold the Lamb of God who takes away the sins of the world.
In your personal study this week, take some time to examine
the Scriptures to see what they say about the Son of God.
Sunday morning we will examine John 1:29-34 to see the claims
John makes about Christ. Many people know that Christ died on
the cross, but fewer people understand that He was not just a
man, but that He was God in the flesh.
As we look forward to
Sunday, please be thinking of a friend, coworker or family
member you can invite who does not have a personal
relationship with Christ. Let's join together in asking God to
transform lives through the ministry of Front Street Baptist
Church. TO GOD BE THE
GLORY!

the note that you wish to be placed on a waiting list.
As tickets are returned, we will re-issue them to people on
the
list. |

Prayer
Point
God's Will For Your
Life
"God, what
is Your will for my life?" No doubt you have asked
this question many times in prayer.
Have you found
it? Are you still looking for it? Does it seem
like some way out there thing that you can't quite
grasp?
I have good
news! God's will for you is simply doing the next thing
that God puts in front of you, so that at the end of the
day you can say, "I have accomplished the purpose of God for
me today."
When we examine the
life of Jesus, he was constantly moving--to the next person,
the next place, the next need--and the lives he touched were
changed forever! He said, "I came to do the will of my
Father. My Father is always working and I am
working." (John 6:38; John 5:17)
So--what is God's will
for your life--this moment? It's the "next
thing".
Do it with all the
power that God has given you--the greatest power in Heaven and
on Earth, the power of the Holy Spirit.
Father, I open my
heart right now to receive your power for accomplishing your
will for my life--doing the "next thing"--and doing it with
eternity in mind.
May your will be
done on Earth as it is in Heaven.
Only in
doing Your will, Father, will I find rest--not by doing
some great thing, just the "next thing". And
keep me reminded that there are no status jobs in the
Kingdom.
In Jesus' Name,
Amen

Update
We were recently advised by
the Iredell County Inspections Department that we have now met
all of their requirements and that a building permit could be
issued for enclosing the walkway and the construction of the
restrooms. With all that is planned around FSBC before
Easter, our contractor agreed that it would be wise to delay
further work until after Easter. Expect an update at our
Family Business Meeting on April
18. |

Spring Banquet
The Spring Banquet is the biggest
fundraiser that we have each year. This year we have the
honor of Ryan Dobson as the guest speaker. He is
the son of nationally known Christian Psychologist, Dr. James
and Shirley Dobson. The banquet will be held on
Thursday, May 3rd at 7:00 p.m. at First Baptist Church.
We are asking that each Christian reading this to pray that
God will fill each seat to generate the funds that are needed
to keep the Center in operation. How is He impressing
you to participate? Contact us if you feel led to Host a
