 A Word From the Pastor

This past Sunday we concluded our series on the Beatitudes. I hope that through this series each one of us has taken time to examine our walk with Christ. Too many Christians put on a front that they are living for Christ when their hearts are far from Him. The number one thing we have learned through this series is that God cares much more about what is going on in our hearts than how we appear to others.

This coming Sunday, my family and I will be away on vacation. You will not want to miss this Sunday as Jon Lindeman will be bringing the message. Jon shared with the church body several months back about the call God has placed on his life. I feel certain that God is going to use Jon in a powerful way Sunday. Please spend time in prayer this week asking God to anoint Jon and to work through him in a powerful way. Even though our family will not be there Sunday, we will be praying for your time of worship.

Pastor Tim

 MAYDAY!  MAYDAY!  MAYDAY!

"Mayday" is an emergency code word used internationally as a distress signal.  The Baptist Center Food Pantry and Clothes Closet is issuing a Mayday!

We are assisting almost twenty families per week and expect our requests for assistance to increase even more when school
dismisses for the summer.
Please help get the shelves re-stocked.

The clothes closet needs summer baby, children and teens clothes.
 Can you help?

Over 300 families have received food and clothes this year, and 73 precious souls accepted Christ as Savior!  Please support His ministry, His work.

Thank you for your support.  Thank you for giving.
