 A Word From the Pastor

I have heard from several of you that brother Jon did an excellent job this past Sunday. Thanks, Jon, for sharing what God placed on your heart in such a powerful way.

This coming Sunday at Front Street, we will be partaking of the Lord's Supper. This is such a special time in the life of the body of Christ. In 1 Corinthians 11, Jesus talked to the church in Corinth about the Lord's Supper and how they were not treating this time as they should. In fact, they were bringing judgment to themselves which caused weakness, sickness and even death.

Before we come together Sunday morning, I would like to ask you to take some time to get alone with God and ask Him to search your heart. My prayer is that as we come together for this special occasion, that we would not come in an unworthy manner, but that we would come with clean hands and a pure heart. 1 Corinthians 11:28 says: But let a man examine himself, and also let him eat of the bread and drink of the cup. For he who eats and drinks in an unworthy manner eats and drinks judgment to himself, not discerning the Lord's body.

Through the remainder of this week, please take time to read and pray through 1 Corinthians 11:17-34. I look forward to our time of worship together this Sunday. I love you and I covet your prayers.

Pastor Tim

Will whoever took the Easter Pageant videos from the library, please return them.  We had a new member ask to check one out, and we found that someone else had taken them, without checking them out.  Thank you!

 MAYDAY!  MAYDAY!  MAYDAY!

"Mayday" is an emergency code word used internationally as a distress signal.  The Baptist Center Food Pantry and Clothes Closet is issuing a Mayday!

We are assisting almost twenty families per week and expect our requests for assistance to increase even more when school
dismisses for the summer.
Please help get the shelves re-stocked.

The clothes closet needs summer baby, children and teens clothes.
 Can you help?

Over 300 families have received food and clothes this year, and 73 precious souls accepted Christ as Savior!  Please support His ministry, His work.

Thank you for your support.  Thank you for giving.
