 A Word From the Pastor

I would like to take this opportunity to say thank you to Bob Cook on behalf of our church. Over the last year, Bob has served Front Street as the interim Senior Adult and Care Pastor. During that time, Bob worked many hours, going above and beyond the call of duty. Over this past year, Bob logged 1700 hours of service (without compensation) to our seniors, our church, but ultimately to Christ. As I shared this past Sunday night during the ordination service, Bob demonstrated the heart of a deacon. He did more than just fill in the gap, he provided outstanding care to our Saints at Home and Saints in Care as well as tremendous support for the staff.

Thank you, Bob, for your servant's heart, your love for Christ and His church, and your example of selfless service to the kingdom of God. As the pastor, I deeply appreciate your love and support, and I appreciate you working alongside of me in the ministry. I heard from our Saints at Home and Saints in Care how much they appreciated your visits, the DVDs you brought them, and the times you have been there to take them to the doctor or help out with something in the home. The members of Front Street are grateful for your past, present and future service. We love you, Brother!
