Ordination Service for Jon Lindeman - Sunday 4:00

This coming Sunday, we have the privilege of ordaining Jon Lindeman to the Gospel Ministry. Jon is currently serving as the pastor of Cascade Baptist Church in Mooresville, NC. By ordaining Jon, we are saying as a church that we recognize God's call on his life and we have observed him faithfully using his gifts in service to Christ. I hope you will take advantage of this opportunity to demonstrate our love and support to Jon and his family. Please pray for them as God works through them to restart Cascade.

Exploring Church Membership

This past Sunday we explored why membership in the local church matters and why it is important. This Sunday, we will explore what makes Front Street unique among the other churches in our community. Specifically, we will explore the vision God has given us and how He works through the body to accomplish His vision. I am thankful for all God is doing in and through Front Street, and pray that He will continue. Along those lines, I want to say how thankful I am for God's protection and empowerment of our senior's mission trip to West Virginia. I am looking forward to hearing their stories of how God changed their lives as well as those to whom they ministered. I appreciate our seniors leading the charge of missions at Front Street.

 FALL FUN FEST!

Our Fall Fun Fest this past Friday evening was a huge success!  We had 402 children and their families in attendance.  Thanks to all the volunteers who participated in Trunks of Treats and helped with games, inflatables, serving food and drinks, the hayride, marshmellow roast, etc.  We also appreciate all candy donations and monetary donations from the Loyal Soldiers, Old Codgers, and the Nursery Sunday School Classes.  Thanks also to the Branches Class for popcorn and popcorn boxes.

We had a great night!  We have many prospects now that we will be contacting in the next couple of weeks.
Please keep these outreach efforts in your prayers.
