A Word From the Pastor

 Christmas Toy Store

I would like to use my space in the Link this week to highlight the Toy Store ministry through our association.  Front Street has reserved Saturday, December 13th for our people to staff the Toy Store for the South Yadkin Baptist Association.  We still need runners (these people bring clients up to the store and escort them around to the counselors, etc.) and shopper's aides (these people assist the clients with their purchases - some math skills are helpful, or a good calculator).  Listed below are the times and job needs.  You may work more than one shift, if you desire:

8:45-11:30  Two Runners
11:15-2:00  One Runner / One Shoppers Aide
1:45-4:00   One Runner / One Shoppers Aide
3:45-6:00    Two Runners / One Shoppers Aide
5:45 - 8:00  One Runner / One Shoppers Aide

We also are in need of counselors to share the gospel with the parents.  Please email debbie@fsmissions.info if you can help. If this date does not work for you, there are other times available. Please see Debbie or Kenny to set up alternate dates and times.

URGENT NEEDS of Support for the Toy Store

1)       Financial Supporters - Due to the current economic conditions, the need for toys is very great this year.  Please consider a generous donation this Sunday.  You may add the money to your tithe in your regular giving envelope and notate "Toy Store" in the "other" blank.  You may also give online with your credit or debit card here: http://fsmissions.info/ToyStore.html.  Donations through the missions website will show up on your annual giving record for tax deduction purposes.
2)       Prayer Supporters - Please pray for God's provision and His work in the hearts of the workers, the parents and the children. I want to challenge our church to cover this ministry in prayer every day.

In Christ,
Pastor Tim
