A Word From the Pastor
Dear Church Family,

A few weeks ago, we received a call from a representative of the Iredell County Crusades inviting us to be a part of some upcoming events with evangelist Ken Freeman. Beginning on April 20th, the students from Statesville Middle and Statesville Senior High schools will be bussed over during school hours to our church to hear Brother Freeman speak. The son of an alcoholic mother and absentee father, Ken's childhood was filled with abuse and neglect. He has an amazing testimony of the power, grace and love of Christ, and he relates it well to young people. We are excited to be able to be a part of this rare opportunity to get the message of hope out to many of our public school students here in Iredell County. Also, starting at 6:30 in the evenings, there will be a churchwide revival here at the church with Brother Freeman as well. Again, this revival will begin April 20th and end on the 22nd. Please begin praying for these upcoming events and start thinking about lost friends or relatives that you might be able to invite to the revival. If you have any further questions, feel free to call or email, or if you want to know more about Ken Freeman, his website is www.kenfreemanministries.com.

Have a blessed week,

Pastor Tim and staff

 40 Days of Prayer:

Day 14 - Tuesday, March 10

Pray for our Church Library and all the volunteers who give their time to serve in this ministry.  Ask that God would continue to provide the resources and donations to equip the library.

Pray for our leaders and volunteers who provide food for the Bereaved Meals Committee.

Meet Me at Luigi's

We have a wonderful opportunity to support our youth missions trip to the Dominican Republic and enjoy a great meal and show.  Our youth are putting together a  dinner theatre production entitled, Meet Me at Luigi's.  The cost of the meal and show is $10.00 per person.  All proceeds go to help with expenses of the youth missions trip.  Each person going on the trip needs to raise an additional $700 through this fundraising event, donations, and personal payments.

The show has an evangelistic appeal, and it would be great for you to buy tickets and bring your unsaved friends, co-workers, and neighbors.  Sunday School classes may wish to buy tickets for their NB Mills teacher and his/her spouse to attend.

Three performances are scheduled on Friday, March 20th and Saturday, March 21st.  Tickets will be available at church in the breezeway and outside the back door.

Thank you for your assistance in this.

2008 Contribution Records

 Thank you!

How to Become Part of the Front Street Family

First, we would like to thank you for your interest in Front Street.  Before becoming a member, we feel that you should truly understand our heart and vision before you join our church family, and the new member's class is designed to help you have a clear understanding of your new church family.

Please note that you are not required to join Front Street after attending the New Member's Class.  In fact, you will not be pressured in any way to join.  We want to encourage you to continue to seek God's will on whether He desires for you to plant your life here with us.

The new member's class is a four week class, held during the Sunday School hour.  The next class will be held  in May.  Those dates are May 3, 10, 17 and 24.  To sign up for the class, please contact the church office at (704) 872-7623 or email Pastor Tim at tim@frontstreet.org.
