A Word From the Pastor

Establishing a Proper View of Obedience - Isaiah 6:8

This Sunday will wrap up our time in studying the call of the prophet Isaiah. Over the last three weeks we have seen how God allowed Isaiah to see the Lord seated on the throne and the impact that made on his life. Isaiah was brought to a place of brokenness as he saw himself in light of who God is. Here, he confessed his sinfulness and experienced the cleansing of the Lord.

What was God preparing Isaiah for? God was preparing him to be a prophet. All that Isaiah went through was to make Him useful in the Kingdom of God. This week we will study the famous words of Isaiah, Here am I! Send me. What is God doing in your heart? Are you at a place where God can use you? Are you ready to step out in obedience and follow the Lord each and every day? Are you ready to say with Isaiah, "Here am I, send me"?

It is so exciting to me that God even desires to use us. He could fulfill every bit of His plan without giving us a thought. But how awesome it is that He loves us and desires to involve us in His plan. Praise the Lord for all that He is doing at Front Street and all that He has for us in the future.

I love you church family!

Pastor Tim

 40 Days of Prayer:

Day 35 - Tuesday, March 31

Pray for our Church campus today.  Ask God for wisdom and discernment for our leaders and members in making decisions on repairs, upgrades, expansions and future building programs.  Pray that each member would be a good steward of God's provision of this property.

Annie Armstrong Easter Offering for North American Missions

Why Give to the Annie Armstrong Easter Offering for North American Missions?

Because three of four people in North America are lost. One hundred percent of dollars given to the AAEO go to support over 5,000 missionaries and their ministries in the United States and Canada. Through the next weeks, our church will be celebrating North American Missions.  Don't miss out of this special time of learning how Southern Baptists are living with urgency and sharing Christ the U.S. and Canada.

North American Missionaries

Though their stories and methods are different, they share a common urgency for sharing the gospel with North American. Whether it is starting a new church, meeting the needs of the homeless, leading worship at a ski resort, or leading Back Yard Bible clubs, missionaries depend on the faithful prayers and generosity of Southern Baptists. Please pray for our missionaries and give generously to the Annie Armstrong Easter Offering®.

Our Church's Goal

Our church's goal for North American Missions is $5,000. Please pray that God will lead you in your sacrificial giving.

How to Become Part of the Front Street Family

First, we would like to thank you for your interest in Front Street.  Before becoming a member, we feel that you should truly understand our heart and vision before you join our church family, and the new member's class is designed to help you have a clear understanding of your new church family.

Please note that you are not required to join Front Street after attending the New Member's Class.  In fact, you will not be pressured in any way to join.  We want to encourage you to continue to seek God's will on whether He desires for you to plant your life here with us.

The new member's class is a four week class, held during the Sunday School hour.  The next class will be held  in May.  Those dates are May 3, 10, 17 and 24.  To sign up for the class, please contact the church office at (704) 872-7623 or email Pastor Tim at tim@frontstreet.org.
