A Word From the Pastor

Resurrection Sunday!

This coming Sunday we will celebrate the greatest, most miraculous event in all of history.  The resurrection of Jesus Christ is at the very center of our faith as Christians.  The Apostle Paul said, "And if Christ is not risen, then our preaching is empty and your faith is also empty."  If you have been praying for someone you know who is lost, this would be a great Sunday to invite those friends, co-workers or family members.

We will begin our celebration at 7:30 a.m. on the front steps with the Sunrise Service, followed by breakfast at 8:00 a.m.  Sunday school will follow after breakfast at 9:00 a.m. with the Resurrection Worship Celebration after that at 10:30 a.m.

Annie Armstrong Easter Offering

All of this month we have been emphasizing the Annie Armstrong Easter Offering for North American Missions.  When people give to this offering, one-hundred percent of their gifts go into missionary salaries and ministry supplies.  Our church's goal for this offering is $5,000.00.  Our missionaries have often related how the offering is their lifeblood.  Please ask the Father how much He would have you sacrificially give to this offering.

I want to strongly encourage you to be with us this coming Sunday.  I look forward to an awesome time spent in celebrating our Risen Savior.

I love you church family,

Pastor Tim

.

Annie Armstrong Easter Offering for North American Missions

Why Give to the Annie Armstrong Easter Offering for North American Missions?

Because three of four people in North America are lost. One hundred percent of dollars given to the AAEO go to support over 5,000 missionaries and their ministries in the United States and Canada. Through the next weeks, our church will be celebrating North American Missions.  Don't miss out of this special time of learning how Southern Baptists are living with urgency and sharing Christ the U.S. and Canada.

North American Missionaries

Though their stories and methods are different, they share a common urgency for sharing the gospel with North American. Whether it is starting a new church, meeting the needs of the homeless, leading worship at a ski resort, or leading Back Yard Bible clubs, missionaries depend on the faithful prayers and generosity of Southern Baptists. Please pray for our missionaries and give generously to the Annie Armstrong Easter Offering®.

Our Church's Goal

Our church's goal for North American Missions is $5,000. Please pray that God will lead you in your sacrificial giving.

How to Become Part of the Front Street Family

First, we would like to thank you for your interest in Front Street.  Before becoming a member, we feel that you should truly understand our heart and vision before you join our church family, and the new member's class is designed to help you have a clear understanding of your new church family.

Please note that you are not required to join Front Street after attending the New Member's Class.  In fact, you will not be pressured in any way to join.  We want to encourage you to continue to seek God's will on whether He desires for you to plant your life here with us.

The new member's class is a four week class, held during the Sunday School hour.  The next class will be held  in May.  Those dates are May 3, 10, 17 and 24.  To sign up for the class, please contact the church office at (704) 872-7623 or email Pastor Tim at tim@frontstreet.org.

 Prayer Sanctuary

Would you be willing to pray during our morning worship service in the prayer sanctuary?  There are no requirements for praying aloud or silently, only that you would dedicate an hour of wholehearted prayer during the service to cover our church.  We would like to have more than one person assigned just to have adequate coverage.  You can pray together or separately.  If you would be willing to be part of this vital ministry, please notify the church office at 704-872-7623 or email at info@frontstreet.org.  Please indicate how often you are willing to serve.
