A Word From the Pastor

Moms, you will not want to miss this Mother's Day at Front Street. You will also want to make sure your children are there. The message that God has placed on my heart is from Proverbs 1:7-9: The fear of the LORD is the beginning of knowledge, But fools despise wisdom and instruction. My son, hear the instruction of your father, And do not forsake the law of your mother; For they will be a graceful ornament on your head, And chains about your neck. My focus this Sunday will be for every person, as we reflect on the teachings of our mother. For those of us who have the privilege to let our mothers know the impact they have made in our lives, I pray that we will take this opportunity to say, "Thank you!"

This Mother's Day, my prayer is that we give God thanks for the mothers He has given us. We would like to celebrate our moms this Sunday morning by having muffins in the breezeway before Sunday School and before Worship. I hope that you will take a moment to come by so that we as a church can say thank you for all you are doing in the lives of your children. I know that I speak for more people than myself in saying that no matter how old we get, we love our moms dearly and value their input in our lives. We cherish every second with them and never stop thanking God for allowing us to be loved by them.

Pastor Tim

How to Become Part of the Front Street Family

First, we would like to thank you for your interest in Front Street.  Before becoming a member, we feel that you should truly understand our heart and vision before you join our church family, and the new member's class is designed to help you have a clear understanding of your new church family.

Please note that you are not required to join Front Street after attending the New Member's Class.  In fact, you will not be pressured in any way to join.  We want to encourage you to continue to seek God's will on whether He desires for you to plant your life here with us.

The new member's class is a four week class, held during the Sunday School hour.  The next class will be held  in August.  Those dates are August 9, 16, 23 and 30.  To sign up for the class, please contact the church office at (704) 872-7623 or email Pastor Tim at tim@frontstreet.org.
