A Word From the Pastor

Thank you to everyone who gave to the Gideon Offering this past Sunday. I am pleased to report that Front Street gave $2256.20 to the Gideon Ministry so that the Word of God can continue to be placed around the world. Let's remember to undergird our gifts with our prayers for the workers and the placement of the Word.

Over the next two Sundays, we will be focusing on the story of Christmas. As you prepare for this Christmas season, I would like to encourage you to spend some time in the following passages: Isaiah 7:14 & 9:6, Matthew 1-2 and Luke 1-2. All of these passages speak of the great mission of God, sending His only begotten Son so that we may have life in Him.

One of the ways that we can honor God this Christmas season, is to join Him in missions. I would ask you to prayerfully consider contributing to the Lottie Moon Christmas offering. For some of you, this is something you plan for all year long. For others, you may be new to the offering or maybe unsure of the purpose of the offering. Every penny given to Lottie Moon is used to help support nearly 5,600 Southern Baptist missionaries serving worldwide. Last year, those missionaries reported almost 27,000 new churches and 566,000 baptisms. What an awesome way to make an impact to the ends of the earth.

I love you,

Pastor Tim

How to Become Part of the Front Street Family

First, we would like to thank you for your interest in Front Street.  Before becoming a member, we feel that you should truly understand our heart and vision before you join our church family, and the new member's class is designed to help you have a clear understanding of your new church family.

Please note that you are not required to join Front Street after attending the New Member's Class.  In fact, you will not be pressured in any way to join.  We want to encourage you to continue to seek God's will on whether He desires for you to plant your life here with us.

The new member's class is a four week class, held during the Sunday School hour.  The next class will be held  in January.  Those dates for the adult class or for the children's class are January 10, 17, 24 and 31.  To sign up for the adult class (which includes youth), or to sign your child up for the children's class, please contact the church office at (704) 872-7623 or email Pastor Tim at tim@frontstreet.org.
