A Word From the Pastor

I want to say thank you to Julie Wozniak for all of her work here at Front Street over the last four years. Julie has done a wonderful job each week with the Link, bulletin, church communications, music and many other responsibilities.  Julie will leave us this week to focus on her position with Grace Fellowship.  Please pray for Julie and Grace Fellowship as they seek to glorify Christ and make Him known!

Mitzi Gooden will be taking over Julie's responsibilities in an interim position. As you can imagine, it will take some time to learn the system at Front Street, so please pray for her during this transition. Mitzi will be training this week with Julie and will assume the responsibilities next week. If you have information for the Link, bulletin, announcement slides or daily email, please send those request to mitzi@frontstreet.org.

Our text this Sunday will come from John 17:1-19. In this passage, we find one of the greatest passages in all the Bible. In all of chapter 17, we get an in depth look into the prayer life of our Savior. In verses 1-5, we will see the Son pray to the Father concerning Himself. In verses 6-19, Jesus prays for His disciples. Prayer is such an essential part of our lives. As we study this passage together in preparation for Sunday morning, I pray that God will grow us in the area of prayer.

Praying for Sunday,

Pastor Tim

How to Become Part of the Front Street Family

First, we would like to thank you for your interest in Front Street.  Before becoming a member, we feel that you should truly understand our heart and vision before you join our church family, and the new member's class is designed to help you have a clear understanding of your new church family.

Please note that you are not required to join Front Street after attending the New Member's Class.  In fact, you will not be pressured in any way to join.  We want to encourage you to continue to seek God's will on whether He desires for you to plant your life here with us.

The new member's class is a four week class, held during the Sunday School hour.  The next class will be held  in April.  Those dates for the adult class or for the children's class are April 11, 18, 25 and May 2.  To sign up for the adult class (which includes youth), or to sign your child up for the children's class, please contact the church office at (704) 872-7623 or email Pastor Tim at tim@frontstreet.org.

THANK YOU:
Thank you, dear members of Front Street Baptist Church, for the encouragement, grace and love you have shown to me during the last four years.  I will never forget you!  Many of you I have known me since my childhood, having been a member of Front Street since I was 11 years old.  It is not easy to leave such a loving, caring church family.  I thank God for you.  As I leave to focus on my position with Grace Fellowship, this verse of scripture comes to my mind, "I thank Christ Jesus our Lord, who has given me strength, that He considered me faithful, appointing me to His service." - I Timothy 1:12.  What an honor and privilege to be used by God!  Again, thank you for the privilege of allowing me to serve Him alongside you.

I Love You with the Love of the Lord!
Julie J. Wozniak
